It was a couple of weeks ago where I posted my farewell address to the Pokemon world. Millions were shocked that I made the decision to leave, but honestly, the decision was an inexorable one. I was burned out from competing, trolling losers on GameFAQs, and putting up with the antics of certain idiots who contributed in killing my motivation. But that was alright, because as far I'm concerned, I've accomplished everything that I wanted to.
Since leaving, I've focused more time onto other projects. I'm in the process of writing a memoir about my tenure in the Pokemon community. It will include everything: how I got started, the GGFan era, CAM, THE Alternative, Brasil Pokemon, Pokemonexperte, Pokefans, my departure, and so on. While my farewell address was thorough, it was nonetheless too vague; I'd like to elaborate on many of the events that I've been fortunate enough to be a part of, as well as more stories about the nefarious GGFan that some people aren't aware about. It'll be difficult to finish something so voluminous, but I've left an indelible mark on the Pokemon world and feel it's something that I really need--should--do.
Besides that, I've been studying about things that nobody in the real world cares about, including the German language. It's required that I gain reading knowledge of a foreign language, so it may as well be German. After all, I've already picked up several words, sentences, and phrases in the four years I spent playing in the German circuit.
Finally, I'd like to underscore the fact that, although I said I am most likely never going to make a comeback, you can never say never in this great industry of ours. But for now, the "GGFan" chapter of my life is closed.
Never give up,
GGFan
