As some of you know, M3k is gone from THE Alternative. The reason was that he failed to follow the rules in a tournament and left due to his own inability to check them, accusing me of not pointing them out, when I did, even though the rule of Wrap/Clamp/Fire Spin/Bind being banned has been enforced here for months. M3k would be used as an example and because of his actions, I posted our official standard rules for tournaments from now on.
M3k has been part of THE Alternative for almost a year, his first appearence in THE Alternative dates back to Slayers '06 RBY League. Though he was subbed out for Billtog, M3k would prove to be a fierce competitor as he reached the finals of TOS3, beating gdpt in a very close, back and forth battle 1-0, a 6-0 over Sk and a bye to the final round. From there, M3k would establish himself as a proven competitor in THE Alternative, always a threat. M3k had actually retired from battling but came back to play in The Alternaversary, M3k was awarded a bye in the first round, he then beat me in a very controversial battle 1-0, but he managed to finally beat me and then proceeded to 4-0 SamG in the final round, again with some controversey. But it's the result the matters most and M3k finally won a tournament.
I've known M3k for over two and a half years and he was in the VBR tournament as well, where he would manage to make the semi finals of the 32 man double elimination tournament. I knew way before M3k started battling in THE Alternative that he would be one of our consistent players. M3k was inducted into THE Alternatives Hall of Fame in September, one of the only three battlers to reach the top of the RBY mountain.
The door is open to M3k if he wishes to return, but he will have to come himself, nobody will be coming to M3k. Until then, goodbye and good luck.
