Hey guys, not sure who's still lurking around here, but I'm sure GGFan will see this at the least. I'll also try to find some of the older guys and see if they're interested.
Anyway, I've been thinking about getting back into RBY (rby2k10's new metagame has piqued my interest). Until all that rolls around though, I figured playing some regular RBY would be fun too as it's been awhile.
The rules are fairly basic, no wrap, no double team, etc etc we all know by now. I've been trying to think of a way to make it a little interesting. I was thinking about making it a mix of OU and UU, but I can't really think of a way of doing that without turning the tournament into a game with teams of little variation.
I'm not in too big a rush to get this started, as I've been flooded with school work lately. I think mid-late December, or even later depending on how slowly this thing gets going, would be an ideal time. I'll be posting back here to reply to any interest or just to talk.
Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that though this is clearly a kick back tourney, everyone's welcome. May as well get to know the new people around here!
