The VBR Tourney: Round one pairings and rules

Well after a week of advertising on just about every online Pokemon community, the VBR is well known everywhere. So it's got itself a big stage. I also managed to get 32 people so this will be my first ever 32 man tournament. Here are the rules for round one.

1. You must construct a team in RBY with trades mode and challenge your opponent to GSC mode.
2. RBY Pokemon only, GSC Pokemon are NOT allowed.
3. GSC moves like Sweet Scent and Present are NOT allowed.
4. Tradebacks like Thunderpunch Alakazam are NOT allowed.
5. Hold items like Leftovers are NOT allowed.
6. Breedable moves like Flail Squirtle are NOT allowed.
7. Sleep clause
8. Evasion ban. Moves that raise evasion are NOT allowed.
9. Counter ban. Counter is NOT allowed.
10. Mewtwo/Mew ban. Mewtwo/Mew are not allowed.

Tourney starts Thursday but I'm allowing the battlers to battle before then. Deadline is next Wednesday. And by the way, VBR is short for VisionBecomesReality. Since this tourney began as a vision that Jolt came up with three years ago. Now three later, it's a reality. This tourney is also my little vision, a vision of 32 people battling in a new form of online play.

Well Sk-Slob-Killa beat SK-Kris 4-0. So that's our first completed battle.

SelViod beat DeadZone 3-0.

Super M beat Icecap 4-0. Though he used a Razor Leaf Vileplume, it hardly played a factor in the battle. He would have won regardless. He also told me he would have used Mega Drain on Vileplume if he didn't have RL. So I gave him the win, Icecap wanted me to as well.

Bugsy23 dropped out of the tournament. This means Naas gets the auto win into the second round or he can find a different opponent.

Well I changed my opponent to Team Aqua Admin Cloud seeing as madpsyco535 told me he might not be able to battle. So madpsyco535 is up against a sub and I battled TAAC and won 4-0!

MythTrainer got himself DQd in his battle with E4 Inferno Demon for using a T-Punch Alakazam. He has until the deadline to find E4 Inferno Demon to have a rematch or else E4 Inferno Demon gets the win 3-0.
