Charizard
Type/s: Fire/Flying
HP: 359
Attack: 266
Defense: 254
Speed: 298
Special: 268
Weakness: Water (2x), Ice (2x), Electric (2x), Rock (2x)
Resistances: Grass (4x), Fire (2x), Ground (Immune), Bug (4x), Fighting (2x)
Tier: Top UU
Swords Dance
Flamethrower/Fire Blast
Earthquake
Body Slam/Hyper Beam/Slash
Charizard has pretty good speed; in UU it's one of the fastest Pokemon you can have on your team. It gets Earthquake, which is good since you'll need it when going up against Electabuzz and Magneton. Really, its speed is really the best thing it has going for it. It can torch Venomoth and grasses with its respective fire move, but keep in mind even if you go with Fire Blast that you still won't be able to 2HKO Machamp, but you will be able to 2HKO Dodrio.
For your physical attacks, EQ is a must have which leaves you with BS, HB and Slash. Body Slam is recommended most, while Hyper Beam is mentioned for its power, and Slash is good if you come in not being able to set Charizard up.
Basically Charizard is arguably the best Swords Dance Pokemon in the game, since unlike Scyther it can at least hit rock types; after one Swords Dance you 2HKO Kabutops and Omastar. The problem is that Charizard has weaknesses to two of the most common types in the game: electric and ice. To really be significant at providing big offense it needs to set up which can be hard to do since Machamp and Nidoking can learn Rock Slide, Blastoise and Vaporeon wall it, Electabuzz outspeeds it and Mr. Mime ties it with speed.
If you're going to try pulling off Charizard in standard, use Fire Blast as you'll need it since Flamethrower doesn't 2HKO Exeggutor and you'll need to do as much damage as possible to Tauros and Snorlax. Submission could be an interesting option in standard to deal with Chansey and it'll do more to Tauros and Snorlax if you manage to get a Swords Dance in.
Other options: In standard, Submission has a bit of potential.
