Type/s: Normal HP: 333 Attack: 238 Defense: 218 Speed: 328 Special: 228
Weaknesses: Fighting (2x)
Tier: BL
Slash Body Slam/Screech Hyper Beam Bubblebeam
Slash makes Persian incredibly effective, as you factor in CH + STAB which gives you about a 210 power attack every turn. Persian also has awesome speed, and thus can be utilized in standard as a good sweeper. Basically you just bring it in and Slash everything, then switch out if the opponent brings in something Persian can't really hit (Gengar) or if you don't want to run the risk of getting paralyzed. Body Slam is good to paralyze something and help Persian win an encounter it usually wouldn't, while Screech can trigger a switch. You could use Screech then use Bubblebeam when the opponent switches to their Golem and Rhydon. Hyper Beam is a good finishing move because of the CH factor.
The only downside to Persian is that it is very frail and can't take hits very well. Ultimately Tauros and Snorlax are better sweepers but Slash will allow Persian to 2HKO and 3HKO basically everything in the game that doesn't resist it.
Other options: Thunderbolt to hit Gyarados and Cloyster.

umm just like to recomend mimic over body slam... I mean you'll be using slash all the time anyways, and you may snag an EQ from rhydon on the swich or a psychic from that gengar swich in... which may just help you out.

Why Mimic on Rhydon when you can just use Bubblebeam? You think a Psychic from Persian will server as an anti-Gengar? Guess again. Body Slam, for the fact that it can paralyze a switch in makes it more useful than Mimic. Hell, I'd rather use T-Bolt.
