Alakazam
HP: 313
Attack: 198
Defense: 188
Speed: 338
Special: 368
Psychic
Thunderwave
Reflect/Kinesis/Counter/Seismic Toss
Recover
A beast. In most OU games Alakazam will be the fastest thing on both teams, unless your opponent has an Alakazam too. Pair that with the 2nd best special stat in the game and the third best CH rate in the game and you have an excellent choice for your team. Because of Alakazam's great speed you have something that serves as a great para support Pokemon, and will also hit for a lot of damage with Psychic.
Psychic/Thunderwave/Recover and the three moves you should always have on Alakazam. The 4th depends on how you want to play Alakazam. Lead Alakazams should always have Seismic Toss, as a lead 'Kazam is sleep bait and you'll want Seismic Toss to hit Jynx or Exeggutor. Reflect is preferred for the mid-game Alakazam, as with Reflect up it becomes very good defensively, even being able to survive a Selfdestruct from Snorlax with enough health.
Counter works if you want to take a chance because if Tauros CHs you might get OHKOd (Alakazam survives on average) or paralyzed, making Alakazam useless. A Snorlax CH will kill you, but the chances of that happening are much lower. But since Counter only works on normal and fighting moves, and because Alakazam can be killed off by Hyper Beam very easily (279 average damage from Tauros, 298 from Snorlax), Counter is certainly limited.
Kinesis works because you will win a 1v1 stallwar vs Chansey barring a freeze. Since you won't be getting hit, you won't have to use Recover much. Kinesis can also work on switches, which can allow you to switch out without taking any damage.
