Tentacruel
HP: 363
Attack: 238
Defense: 228
Speed: 298
Special: 338
Weaknesses: Psychic (2x), electric (2x), ground (2x)
Resistances: Ice (0.5), water (0.5), poison (0.5)
Moveset #1: Special sweeper
Hydro Pump/Surf
Blizzard
Mega Drain
Mimic
Special sweeping set. With a massive 338 special Tentacruel can dish out a lot of damage. Because Tentacruel has a bad typing it's very frail, so Surf is a reasonable option over Hydro Pump. Surf however, can't 2HKO what Hydro Pump can. People playing Tentacruel in OU are advised to use Hydro Pump because you're already taking a chance using Tentacruel, and 2HKOing Tauros and 3HKOing Snorlax are too good to pass up.
Blizzard hits those grass foes, while Mega Drain is your best option against Pokemon like Cloyster, Kingler, Omastar and Kabutops. The HP recovery can always help too. The last move screams "filler!" all over it and it is.
Moveset #2: Swords Dancer
Swords Dance
Double Edge
Hyper Beam
Surf
This is pretty gimmicky and shouldn't be used over the special sweeper. Tentacruel gets no STAB from its physical moves, can't learn Body Slam and has a meager 238 attack stat to begin with.
Moveset #3: Wrapper
Wrap
Surf/Hydro Pump
Blizzard
Hyper Beam/Mega Drain
Tentacruel gets Wrap, and paired with a good speed stat it can shred a UU team since you'll outspeed everything. In OU its speed isn't too great and needs para support to work, but it can work nonetheless. Surf is recommended here since you're always taking a chance with Wrap, but Hydro Pump's power can help you achieve a kill quicker. Hyper Beam should really only be used in OU because of Chansey, whereas Mega Drain is the better choice in UU.
Other options: Barrier looks to be appealing since it can take care of Tentacruel's ground weakness. The problem is that you'll most likely be better off just attacking instead.
