Best. Pokemon.
HP: 523
Atk: 318
Def: 228
Speed: 158
Sp. Atk: 228
Sp. Def: 318
Drumlax:
Snorlax (M) @ Leftovers
- Belly Drum
- Double-Edge
- Earthquake
- Rest
~All other Drumlax variations are failure. EQ because once you've drummed, you don't want something as silly as Gengar to stop you. DE because it 2hkos Skarmory, whereas Return is 3hko; you have no business using Body Slam anyway. Rest so you can save a slot and have it be your special wall as well. Should be a staple on every single team.
Curselax:
Snorlax (M) @ Leftovers
- Curse
- Double-Edge/Body Slam
- Earthquake/Fire Blast
- Rest
~Sucks, don't use it unless you're born a single-digit IQ homosexual boy who just lost his penis. Either works or fails miserably; the latter will always be true if facing someone half-decent, and the former is true if facing someone who is ass. If he is, it doesn't matter what set you use so don't use it anyway.
Mixlax/Starterlax:
Snorlax (M) @ Leftovers
- Double-Edge/Body Slam
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast/Thunder
- Rest/Self-Destruct
~Hits everything hard, self-explanatory set really.
Boblax:
Snorlax (M) @ Leftovers
- Double-Edge
- Surf
- Thunder
- Rest
~Mediocore imo, Snorlax has better things to do.
Counterdrumlax:
Snorlax (M) @ Leftovers
- Belly Drum
- Belly Drum
- Double-Edge
- Rest
~This gets an honorable mention since it's my set. Used exactly like Drumlax, except it doesn't hit Rocks/Ghosts.
Additional options:
Lovely Kiss, Reflect
Use LK only if homosexuality isn't a problem. It really takes the skill out of using Drumlax imo, since teams are already hardpressed countering Drumlax. So don't be a faggot. Reflect is there because people like using physical attacks, but for all intents and purposes, use only the moves mentioned in the sets.
Opinion:
Best. Pokemon. Huge variety, but for serious play, pick the first set. This thing single-handedly revamped the metagame... several times. There's not much to say about it really, other than expect to face one on every single team. Don't bother working your team around countering the beast.
Counters:
None. Literally. A well-equipped Snorlax can down any team with the greatest of ease; there is no surefire counter. Your best bets would probably be Skarmory, Forretress, Steelix, Rhydon, Golem, Tyranitar, Misdreavus, Gengar, Umbreon, Aerodactyl, and Miltank, depending entirely on the set. Machamp and friends can take it down once it's napping and if it doesn't have Sleep Talk, but shouldn't switch in otherwise.
