Well it looks like THE Alternative is really on it's last legs now. To think this happened after the outburst of activity, I'd say this is pretty much what a message board undergoing cardiac arrest would look like. One minute you're doing great and then the next, you're gasping for life.
I said I would never take THE Alternative for granted again, and I'm not. However, I can not do anything about inactivity this bad. Perhaps 2008 is the year that THE Alternative has ran it's course. There is still some unfinished business concering our current tournament, the 2008 RBY League.
Given the fact that the RBY League is one of THE Alternative's most prestigous tournaments, I have to do something about it and I have to do what I feel is right. I have to do what I feel is the best way to resolve this.
Firstly, Slayer, you really disappoint me. You were already given a warning and it appears that you did not fully heed it. Because of this, you will no longer be running this tournament and you have been de-modded. I am sorry, but if I can't depend on you to simply keep a tournament going, then you don't deserve to hold a position as a moderator.
So I will be finishing the RBY League. What I am going to do with it is in the works. I feel that I should not be penalized because of other people's inactivity, so how will this tournament conclude?
Most importantly though, I am considering THE Alternative's status as a community and there is a possibility that I just might pull the plug.
