Zapdos, my favorite of the three birds.
Thunderbolt/Thunder

Drill Peck
Reflect/Light Screen/Agility
Zapdos is the fastest of the three birds at 298 speed. Zapdos can Drill Peck which is a very nice feature. It lets it fuck up grass types like Exeggutor big time. Thunderbolt and Drill Peck are you must have attacks. Zapdos T-Bolt is a very powerful attack. You can try out Thunder seeing as you get the 2hko on Tauros, the OHKO on Starmie but I would probably use T-Bolt consider Thunder has risky accuracy.
Zapdos gets another very nice feature, T-Wave. It'a a great paralysis supporter. But if you have enough paralysis supporters and feel you don't need T-Wave, slap on Rest. Zapdos is good at using Rest as it has very good resistance to physical attacks and good resistance to special blows. Light Screen fixes up Zapdos' ice weakness while Reflect makes you a super wall against Tauros and Snorlax. I've been using Reflect lately and it's been working very well.
Agility can be another option if you don't want Reflect or Light Screen, as Agility lets Zapdos outspeed everything and can go good with Rest.
Nothing counters Zapdos except for Golem and Rhydon, as Zapdos has nothing to combat them. Although once I was able to take 60% off of SamGs Golem thanks to Reflect, you need to switch out. I wouldn't really recommend Mimic but if Golem and Rhydon really scare you, you could always Mimic when they come in and get a chance of getting EQ or if Starmie stays in for some reason, Mimic Blizzard or Surf. Chansey holds its own against Zapdos but a CH Drill Peck usually takes care of that problem and it will happen once Chansey uses Softboiled every other turn.
Zapdos is simply awesome and can tear teams apart once Golem or Rhydon are dead. Nothing can fully counter Zapdos except for them since most ice moves come from water types and it takes like four Chansey Ice Beams to kill a non Light Screen Zapdos.
