Easily one of the worst Pokemon in the game, and arguably the worst. With a horrible typing, mediocre stats and movepool, there is no reason to EVER use Golbat unless you have no choice. Screech will boost Golbat's attacks and can force a switch if the opponent decides to do so, while Confuse Ray can provide some support and possibly save Golbat's hide. Wing Attack offers a bit of type coverage, hitting the likes of Butterfree and Beedrill for more damage while DE is for more overall "power". Hyper Beam is your "finishing move" which usually means doing a whopping 30% before you die.
