Welcome all to the 2007 Hall of Fame! First off will be the re-inductions of 2006's Hall of Famers:
M3k
M3k was part of THE Alternatives second tournament, the 2006 RBY League. From there, M3k would become a force in THE Alternative when he reached the finals of TOS5. M3k had always been a consistent participant of THE Alternatives tournaments and was always a threat. Though M3k had a fair share of semi final appearences, he wasn't able to achieve his big break since making the finals of TOS5, it would change when M3k won the 2006 Alternaversary when he beat me in the semi finals and SamG in the finals.
M3ks final appearence in a tournament was in Christmas Chaos, when he had a dispute of the rules. While M3k hasn't been seen since that moment, his contributions and achievements are still respected.
SamG
SamG had pretty much broke into battling with THE Alternative. I led him to the site when SamG met me on Gamefaqs. SamG was part of THE Alternatives very first tournament back in December of 2005, the RPT. Though SamG lost in the second round, it was only the beginning of what would soon be a great career in THE Alternative.
SamG participated in the 2006 RBY League and made a huge mark when he went undefeated in the regular season but was swept by MeThOd in the West Division Championship Series. SamG held his head up high and continued on however. SamG would later make his first final round appearence in a tournament when he made the finals of his tradeback tourney on April of 2006. SamG lost to me in the finals but kept pressing on as he made the finals of the DWTS, though again losing.
SamG, still determined to finally win a tournament, was able to reach the reach the finals of the 2006 Alternaversary. However, with luck not on his side he wasn't able to beat M3k. SamG remained a consistent competitor however and finally won a tournament when me and SamG formed Team Lidle in the Tag Team Season in November of 2006. Our team was dominant throghout the entire tournament and SamG finally got the tournament victory he deserved.
SamGs momentum continued into the IRBYT, one of the most revolutionary and never before done tournaments. The IRBYT was direct competition between an American community and a European community. SamG dominated the entire tournament when he went 9-0-9 and was part of the two surviving members of THE Alternatives team along with HcM.
However, after this SamG would later fall out of THE Alternative but he was one of it's greatest battlers and thus is getting his proper recognition today.

Yes, me, the God of THE Alternative. I created this place back in July 16th, 2005 and it was known as Message Board. My main intent of creating this place was so that I could make RBY analysis'. After making some and getting some attention from Smogon, I let the place go and it fell into obscurity. After winning the sleeper tournament of the year, the VBR tournament, I was very happy with my career and felt like leaving.
Around a month or so into my absence, I decided that I wanted to return. Since Smogon took interest in THE Alternative, I decided to use them by IMing Skarm and teasing a "return" of something. Typically, the Smogons thought I would be the one returning even though I had said it was not planned for me because if it was I wouldn't do something like that. I had something bigger in mind and upon thinking about what to do, I decided to give my creation a second shot.
On November 2nd, 2005, the date I said the "return" would happen, I re-launched Message Board and renamed it as The Alternative as a way to express the fact that The Alternative is the number one alternative Pokemon community due to the fact that it is not heavily influenced by Smogon like with many sites such as SmogonJr and TP. From there, The Alternative would have a resurgence of life thanks to me being dedicated, getting members and Smogon giving it attention as well.
The Alternative would have a plethora of tournaments and I was the winner of 12 of THE Alternatives tournaments. Out of those 12 were major tournaments such as the 2006 RBY League, TOS5, the TTS, LPT the 2007 RBY League and the first 32 man tournament in THE Alternatives history; TOS6. I am without a doubt, the most dominant battler in THE Alternatives history. But it wouldn't be satisfying if I didn't have such great competition, as I have went up against some of the best RBYers today to do so. So thanks to everyone who has helped make THE Alternative what it is now.
And coming up next....the 2007 Hall of Famers!
