UU Pinsir: Pinsir (M) @ Leftovers - Swords Dance - HP Bug - Body Slam - Submission
~This this rapes so hard once it gets going. There really isn't too much in UU that will stop it, but this thing is rather ineffective in OU with Skarmory and such floating about. Swords boosts that high attack (only needs 2 Dances to max), HP Bug is STAB (in the absence of a good stab bug attack). Body Slam gives a chance at Paralysis on fliers, and Submission for whatever else that might resist....except ghosts =\.
Other options:
Flail, Guillotine, HP Rock
Flail could go over Body Slam in the first set, and as always, the OHKO move is for you faggots out there that can't play the game. HP Rock if you think STAB moves are useless and think you'll beat Charizard.
Opinion:
This thing isn't used for atleast four reasons: Skarmory exists, Heracross exists, it doesn't get a dependable bug move (until D/P), and it has a shallow movepool. But, in spite of that, Pinsir is still somewhat useful, it's just alot harder to use than it should be. Swords Dance makes up for his lack of good attacking moves (Earthquake would have been nice).
Counters: Fire types, flying types, Steel pokemon (namely Skarmory), poison pokemon (Hi Nidoqueen/King).
